Join Care 4 the Caregivers, Kara Wiesmann Pottery, and SANDS for a relaxing and creative pottery class designed for family caregivers of children and adult children with disabilities.

This special class will include guided instruction from potter and SANDS Executive Director Kara Wiesmann, offering caregivers a chance to step away from daily responsibilities, enjoy a hands-on creative experience, and connect with others who understand the caregiving journey.

We will be doing a ceramic hand building class and learning the fundamentals of coil and pinch techniques. With guided instruction and supplies provided, you’ll have the freedom to design and create your own unique piece. The pieces will be glazed and fired off site and available for pick up 3-4 week after the class is complete.

Family caregivers of children and adult children with any disability are welcome. This is a supportive space to unwind, create something meaningful, and spend time in community.
