Description

As parents of children with disabilities we must keep Independence as the North Star for our children. Independence can look different for our children depending on their disability. In the 1970’s the Independent Living Movement was founded by and for disabled individuals to promote independence and autonomy. During this course, we will discuss the independent living principles and talk about how you can incorporate them into your family structure to help your child be as independent as possible.
