Jessica Shiles

Jessica is a consultant, certified life & career coach, and genetic counselor who thrives in environments where people, passion, and purpose come together. With over a decade of experience in the rare disease field, Jessica received her Master’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College in NY and has worked across diverse roles in the genetics and rare disease space. Her expertise spans marketing, sales, leadership, project management, community outreach, patient advocacy, clinical counseling, and nonprofit work. In her current role as a mentor and coach, Jessica combines these passions to support the personal and professional development of aspiring genetic counselors, students, and practitioners.

As a genetic counselor, Jessica has found a special calling in serving the community of caregivers. She believes caregivers are the backbone of patient support, often carrying unseen burdens while managing complex healthcare needs, advocating for loved ones, and providing emotional stability. Jessica is committed to offering caregivers the resources, guidance, and empathy they need to feel supported and empowered on their journey.

Her mission is clear: to encourage, empower, and champion the caregiver community.

Outside of encouraging, empowering, and inspiring others, Jessica also enjoys crafting, cooking (#traderjoesaddict), traveling (#worldtraveler), nerding out in psychoneuroimmunology, binge-watching New Girl (#justjess #spirithuman), fangirling over Brene Brown (#fangirl), and running to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
