DESCRIPTION:Caregivers of Teens & Adults Support Group\nCare 4 the Caregivers Support Groups offer a space where caregivers of children with disabilities can show up exactly as they are. This group is designed for parents and caregivers of teens and young adults ages 13 and older who are navigating the unique challenges of later-stage caregiving and need support that truly understands their lived experience. \nEach session is facilitated by two licensed counselors who center empathy\, shared understanding\, and practical support. Caregivers are invited to talk openly about burnout\, grief\, stress\, advocacy challenges\, and the everyday realities of raising a disabled child. There is no pressure to share\, listening is always welcome. \nAfter you register\, you will receive the Zoom link via email. Please add it to your calendar and set reminders that work best for you. \nWe look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.

If you found this class after the session has begun- you can get on a waitlist here: https://care4thecaregivers.org/sstp-registration/ \nSSTP is an 10-week program that gives parents the tools and techniques they need to teach their children new skills and gives them strategies to manage misbehaviors at home. The frequency of the meetings allows caregivers the opportunity to try out different skills and then report back to the group to share their successes\, or to get help troubleshooting things that are not working. \nYou will be mailed a book for this course and emailed the Zoom link. \n
